Full-time. Busy rural practice. High production potential.

Driftwood Dental in Smithers, BC, is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to join our well-established Smithers practice for a 6-month locum starting September 2026. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-demand, full-scope GP environment with a predictable Monday–Thursday schedule, no evenings or weekends—ideal for a confident clinician who can work independently and deliver excellent patient care.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • 4-day schedule: Monday to Thursday (no evenings / no weekends)

  • Support: CDA support + a stable, long-term team

CLINIC SETUP

  • 6 operatories
  • Associate has 2 chairs
  • 5 RDH
  • PMS: Power Practice
  • Billing: Non-assignment

MODERN TECHNOLOGY

  • CBCT
  • iTero intraoral scanning
  • Digital X-rays + Panoramic imaging
  • Soft tissue laser

CLINICAL FIT

We’re looking for a well-rounded, experienced GP who is confident in:

  • Bread-and-butter restorative dentistry
  • Basic endo and basic oral surgery
  • Crown & bridge

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
