Certified Dental Assistant - Granville Station Dental

About Us:

Granville Station Dental has been serving Vancouver and the surrounding communities for many years.  We are conveniently located in Granville Skytrain Station (right across from the Tim Hortons) in the heart of downtown Vancouver. 

Our practice offers a complete range of dental services ranging from general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry to orthodontics, hygiene, and prevention. Our team of dentists are highly regarded in their field and provide unparalleled dental care in a safe and soothing environment. 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for both children and their families. The CDA will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and support the overall efficiency of the dental practice.


Schedule:

Part-time, Saturdays.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $30-$35/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a new job opening.

Your Role:

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow

  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required

  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards

  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks

  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care

  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

About You:

  • Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
