Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon – Cityview Periodontal Centre (Regina, SK)

High-volume surgical caseload | IV sedation | Dedicated OMFS suites | Collaborative Specialty Practice | Rotational Schedule

Cityview Periodontal Centre in Regina is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) to join our multidisciplinary specialty team. As a collaborative practice, we offer a high-volume referral network, modern surgical operatories, established clinical and admin systems, and specialty OMFS-trained assistants.

Our surgeons are routinely booked 1-4 months in advance, the incoming surgeon will step directly into a well supported and structured environment. Our clinic is built and our team is trained for procedural efficiency — offering autonomy, predictability, and independence.

This opportunity replaces a departing OMFS and is ideal for providers seeking a consistent, organized surgical schedule with no restorative load and a team trained for OMFS workflow.

Key Surgical Highlights

  • Rotating Schedule: 5–6 surgical days/month to start (with room to expand)

  • Support Team: Dedicated OMFS-trained CDAs + nurses

  • Referral Base: Established, province-wide; strong existing ties with general dentists in Regina and the surrounding communities

  • Case Volume: High demand for third molars, clearances, and implant placement

  • Sedation On-Site: Nitrous, Oral, and IV sedation

Clinic Infrastructure & Surgical Setup

  • 3 OMFS-dedicated surgical suites with sedation

  • CBCT, digital scanner, soft-tissue laser, 3D printing

  • Established system with remote treatment planning via Oralinks

Scope of Practice

  • Surgical Extractions: Complex and impacted third molars

  • Clearances: Full arch and full mouth

  • Implant Placement: Straumann, Nobels, BioHorizons

  • Sedation: Full range including deep IV sedation

  • Consultations: Fully booked 4 months out

  • Sedation Days: Fully booked 1–2 months in advance

  • Restorative Coordination: All post-surgical restoration managed in-house by periodontists

Ideal Candidate

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  • Comfortable working independently in a specialty team setting

  • Values efficient surgical days and streamlined patient flow

  • Comfortable with sedation, implantology, and more advanced surgical cases

  • Confident communicator with a clear, decisive treatment style

  • Open to both experienced surgeons and new grads with strong clinical readiness

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited OMFS Program (MSc, MDent, OMFS/MD, PhD, or other recognized combination) and successful completion of the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

  • Valid CPR/BLS and ACLS certification
